The living legend of Italian and Juventus midfield Alessandro Del Piero has finally decided to let the cat out of the bag as far as his secret with the free kicks were concerned. Much to the delight of his fans, followers and admirers, Del Piero recently gave an interview where he elaborated on the point of his mysteriously accurate free kicks. Being a part of the world cup winning national team apart from being honored for numerous achievements throughout his career, the 34 year old star is on Pele's list of greatest living footballers. As far as the free kick mystery and its resolution is concerned, it seems that the key to the entire thing lied in his adolescent years when he used stay at Treviso living with his parents. What used to be an almost daily routine was that Del Piero's father used to come back from work in the evenings and use the little space near the garden in the back of their home as the parking spot for the family car. However, in order to help young Alex with his fiercely sincere and seemingly endless practice with the ball, the headlights used to left turn on. Thus, he only used to try and land the ball only on a particular area which used to be lit up. Apparently things have remained pretty much the same even after two and a half decades. This veteran midfielder / striker is currently involved in the Champions League, what many people are considering to be his final big time outing with the rest of the boys. Although, Del Piero is not showing any sign whatsoever of slowing down or winding up, but still one cannot possibly deny the fact that there are definitely very few fights left in him. The highest capped player of Juventus, he also holds the record for scoring the maximum number of goals for his club. Hero worshipped by the likes of Ronaldinho, there are in fact now very few heights of glory left for Del Piero to achieve in his lifetime. A thoroughbred gentleman both on and off the field, his contributions have brought numerous successes to his teams over the years including the recent seasons. Thus, instead of piling up tons of expectations, all one can desire is to get a glimpse or two of the free kicks from the special "Del Piero Zone".
